Ralph L. Whitt, Jr. received his Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1977, and his law degree from the University of Richmond in 1981. Ralph was a member of the University of Richmond’s National Moot Court team and McNeill Law Society. Ralph has been voted by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the area of workers’ compensation law each year from 1995 to 2006. Ralph is a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, has served previously as chairman of its workers’ compensation section, and has also served on its Board of Directors. Ralph is a member of the Defense Research Institute and has also had numerous articles published in the Journal of Civil Litigation. Ralph and the firm are members of the Virginia Self-Insurers Association. Although Ralph represents clients in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, he has extensive experience defending heart-lung presumption cases.
Michael P. Del Bueno graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1992 and received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware in 1996. Since being admitted to the Virginia bar in October of 1996, Mike has practiced primarily in the area of insurance defense and workers’ compensation law. Mike writes monthly articles on workers’ compensation issues in Whitt & Associates’ monthly e-newsletter, COMPlete Success. Mike is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Richmond Bar Association and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.
Brandon R. Jordan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 2002 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2005. While in law school, Brandon was a member of the McNeill Law Society (top 10% of the class), earned three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards (highest course grades), and completed part of his studies at Cambridge University in England. Brandon is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Richmond Bar Association.
